UNICUT® minimum quantity lubrication systems offer a wide range of applications. The main areas of application are circular saws, band saws, punching machines and strip cutting lines. Furthermore, individual customer requirements can also be realized.

The mode of operation

The UNICUT® MQL systems are pressure vessel systems. This means that the fluid delivery works by means of overpressure and no failure-prone pumps are needed.
This makes the UNICUT® MQL system an absolutely reliable solution suitable for large-scale industry. The dosing is represented by means of the dosing nozzle developed by UNICUT®.
This allows a simple, precise and reproducible adjustment of the oil quantity, which is regulated only by means of the tank pressure. A proportional valve is also available as an option, which enables electronic quantity adjustment via the PLC.

Nozzles for circular saws

UNICUT® All-round M nozzle head

With the nozzle heads for circular saws offered by UNICUT® , all conceivable applications in the field of lubrication and cooling of circular saws can be covered. UNICUT® always offers the right solution for your machine here. Especially the UNICUT® combination nozzles make it possible, with the help of a nozzle head, not only to lubricate the saw blade, but also to spray a special cooling medium onto the main blade at the same time. This means that in applications with carbide saw blades, no nozzle has to be swung away to change the saw blade.

Level monitoring

Know Your Process

The optional level switches offer you the possibility to monitor the level of your lubrication system. They signal either via the PLC of the processing machine or via the optional UNICUT® flashing light when the level in the container has reached the minimum. A level switch with the message full/empty is available for the MQL 100 system. This allows, with the help of the optional UNICUT® filling station, automatic refilling of the containers from a drum or IBC.

Distribution units

The intermediate manifold makes it possible to bridge long distances between the container and the nozzle. The intermediate manifold is connected to the pressure vessel via a conventional hose or pipe line. The valve unit of the nozzle-valve package can then be connected to the intermediate manifold via quick couplings. This particular design allows the pressure vessel to be placed outside the machine so that it can be refilled without entering the safety area of the machine. The intermediate distributor can be used to set up network systems with up to 100 lubrication points.

As a further development, we can now offer flow monitoring and, in a further expansion stage, flow rate control for the Unicut MMS systems. This internationally patented system enables the monitoring and flow rate control of each individual nozzle. This development sustainably increases the process reliability in the respective customer application.
