TASK
When sawing steel, especially solid material, high temperatures and considerable tool wear occur. Inadequate lubrication leads to micro-welding on the tooth tips, tooth breakage or excessive wear of the blade body. Conventional cooling lubricants often fail to reach the critical areas on the tooth and blade body. This results in poor cutting quality, short service life and high lubricant consumption.
TECHNICAL SOLUTION
The UNICUT® MQL system applies a minimal amount of lubricant directly to the cutting edge while simultaneously cooling both sides of the blade body. Two separate application systems – one for the tooth tips (MQL aerosol) and one for the base blade (fine mist coolant supply) – ensure that circular saws and band saws are efficiently lubricated and cooled.
