When machining with internally cooled tools in CNC machines, precise lubricant supply via the spindle is crucial. Different tool types have varying channel diameters – incorrect pressure or inappropriate aerosol distribution can lead to insufficient lubrication, overheating or even damage to the tools. Conventional minimum quantity lubrication systems are often unable to adjust the pressure automatically, which reduces tool life and makes the process unstable.
TECHNICAL SOLUTION
The UNICUT® aerosol system for CNC machines was specially developed for lubricant supply via the tool spindle. It generates a highly stable, finely dispersed aerosol and feeds it directly to the tool via the spindle system – even at high speeds and in narrow tool channels.
SPECIAL FEATURE
The UNICUT® aerosol system can be retrofitted into existing CNC machines or integrated directly into new systems. The combination of automatic pressure control, high aerosol quality and specially developed UNICUT® lubricants ensures maximum efficiency with minimum consumption.
