Reliable corrosion protection is essential in the processing of steel strips and profiles – especially for temporary storage, transport or subsequent processes. Conventional application systems (e.g. flood oiling or roller application) are often imprecise, consume too much medium and cause contamination of the machine environment or problems in subsequent production stages.
TECHNICAL SOLUTION
The UNICUT® MQL system enables the targeted, economical application of rust protection media in precisely defined quantities – both on continuous strip material and on formed profiles. Application is carried out using UNICUT® nozzle bars or spot nozzles – controllable according to line speed, material width and application specifications.
SPECIAL FEATURE
UNICUT® supplies suitable anti-corrosion media for MQL applications – silicone-free, evaporation-optimised and tested for process compatibility. The system can also be combined with automatic quantity control for maximum process reliability.
